In the midst of Corona: Eastvantage remains 100% Operational

Eastvantage has prepared to ensure business continuity in challenging times. As an organization, we have taken measures for the health and safety of our associates, the protection of the meaningful jobs we have created, and the continued support for our client’s businesses. When the news about COVID-19 broke out, we released information about the virus and multiple office sanitation took place.

Work from Home Setup for Associates

Business continuity plans were never about pandemics — we have been prepared for natural disasters, calamities and the like. Even if the virus that we are fighting against caught many by surprise, it helped us test our established BCP and could demonstrate our will and dedication to deliver for our clients.

We have deployed resources and manpower to ensure that all our associates who can work remotely will have adequate support. After a hectic week with the government’s announcement of the Enhanced Community Quarantine, we can fully own that 100% of Eastvantage associates are operational with a work-from-home setup.

Crossing borders and checkpoints, 39% of the associates received their office desktops, complete with LAN cables, keyboards, headsets and other equipment they need. 24% are on laptops, and 15% of the associates have also been provided with pocket wifis. A whopping 37% of the associates are using their own equipment — proving the Eastvantage culture of going the extra mile.

Assets Deployment

In addition to the continuous support from our IT Team, Eastvantage has also sent hardware and other essential resources for a work-from-home setup via courier delivery services such as Lalamove, Grabexpress, and Transportify.

Exemplifying the resilience of Eastvantage spirit are those who volunteered and delivered the resources to associates who cannot acquire them personally — from our COO, Kamal to Business Partners, and other teammates picking up equipment from the office and personally delivering to other team members.

Providing Meaningful Jobs

We continue to provide meaningful jobs, even in the midst of this sad global situation. Just this week, we have signed thirteen (13) new employees, to start by April. These are NetSuite Admins, Data Engineers, Service Desk Analysts and more. And even the world is facing an obstacle, Eastvantage will continue to give hope and provide means of living.
