Global managed services provider supports local non-profit organization’s scalable and sustainable solutions in education, innovation, and entrepreneurship
Taguig, Philippines, September 28, 2022 – Eastvantage, a global managed services provider (MSP), turned over the proceeds of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives for this year to its new partner beneficiary PhilDev Foundation in simple ceremonies led by CEO Kamal Asarpota and Head of HR Hardy Jacob at the company’s BGC headquarters on September 27, 2022.
The CSR initiative, fondly branded by Eastvantage employees as Care Fair, is a month-long affair held annually. It is a fundraising campaign involving team members of Eastvantage for charitable purposes. This year, the amount raised from fun games, movie nights, and a live selling of donated pre-loved items, was topped up by the Eastvantage management and was donated to PhilDev. The latter is a non-profit organization that creates equal access to opportunities in the areas of education, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
“We are happy to support PhilDev’s initiatives to empower underprivileged Filipinos and harness their full potential for them to contribute better value to the country’s growth. This is in line with our mission to create meaningful jobs for as many Filipinos as possible,” said Asarpota.
The employee-raised fund was presented in the form of a check amounting to Php100,000. The check was received by PhilDev’s officials, Program Director Patricia Siriban, Operations Manager April Joy Espiritu, and Communications Specialist Bella Angela Del Rio. In a pre-recorded message, PhilDev Vice-President Dr. Eric Tomacruz welcomed the partnership with Eastvantage and expressed gratitude to the team.
