The Evangelists: Insights from Leaders of the Nation’s Most Beloved Brands held its book launching event on December 12, 2020 featuring many of the most recognized brands in the Philippines and globally. Eastvantage’s VP Growth Strategy, Beth Ballesteros, attended the launch representing the company, and was also recognized for her insights in the feature titled, “Eastvantage: The constant challenge of changing crisis communications.”
The feature tackled how instrumental a company’s decisive business continuity plan and crisis communications strategies are, which, for Eastvantage, led to the smooth transition to the new normal brought on by the pandemic. Recalibrating the organizational strategies accordingly to what the situation demands was the key for the successful transition. Within the weeks leading up to the lockdown, the company’s mindset shifted from planning for the long-term future to readying a business continuity plan. By the time that the community quarantine was implemented, the strategies pivoted on streamlining the work from home operations. Placing proper communication strategies in place is essential in this regard, and has helped Eastvantage remain 100% operational on a work from home setup, with low attrition both on the employee and client side.
