Compliance professional to ensure adherence to international standards
Bengaluru, India – March 12, 2024 – Eastvantage, a global managed services provider and outsourcing company, is pleased to announce the appointment of Balraj Thuppalay as its new Compliance Director.
Balraj Thuppalay brings over 16 years of extensive experience in the IT Audit, Security, and Compliance profession. He has a proven track record of successful delivery in IT Audits, Risk Management, and Compliance projects across various industries in India, the UK, and the USA.
Reporting directly to Managing Director Joeri Timp, Balraj will play a key role in ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations, as well as enhancing Eastvantage’s security services for its clients.

Prior to joining Eastvantage, Balraj served as a Managing Consultant at IBM India Pvt. Ltd., where he functioned as the Global Account Security Manager for National Grid, a large Energy and Utility client in the US and UK. He has also held roles at IBM India Pvt. Ltd., Target India Pvt. Ltd., Crowe Horwath International, Deloitte & Touche, and Oil & Natural Gas Corporation.
Balraj holds a Master of Science (M.S.) in Information Systems with a minor in Internal Audit from Louisiana State University, USA, and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Calicut, India. He is also certified in CISM (Certified Information Systems Manager), CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), and EU GDPR Institute-GDPR Foundation and DPO.
