Systems Engineer

Job Summary:

The Systems Engineer will be a key member of our Global ICT Team, specifically within
the infrastructure team. This role will lead all implementations, activities, and
management of the server infrastructure. The successful candidate will have a strong
understanding of system infrastructure and server hardware, and will also be able to
implement, administer, and troubleshoot various systems and servers.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure for the organization.
2. Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and
   system management tools.
3. Oversee the continuous operation of servers and related infrastructure
   equipment.
4. Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.
5. Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies.
6. Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the
   human intervention time on any tasks.
7. Participate in the design of information and operational support systems.
8. Provide 3rd level support.
9. Act as the change implementer for systems, being involved in change
   management processes.
10. Collaborate with the Network Engineer, Service Delivery, and Information Security
    Officer within the ICT team for day-to-day operations.
11. work with the Development Team in managing their cloud and on-premise
    infrastructure.
12. Manage the global servers and systems across office locations.
13. Ensure that the system infrastructure is maintained in compliance
    with ISO27001 and PCI DSS standards.

Qualifications

1. Proven working experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting
   Windows Servers, and UNIX /Linux based environments.
2. Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related
   subject.
3. Good English communication skills.
4. Ability to handle pressure.
5. Experience in collaborating with development teams and managing cloud and
   on-premises infrastructure.
6. Microsoft and Azure certifications are advantageous
