System Administrator

About Us:
At Eastvantage, we’re looking for a proactive and skilled System Administrator to join our team. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure, including managing servers, networks, and various operating systems. Your expertise will help us maintain system reliability, security, and performance, while also supporting day-to-day IT operations.

Shift: Morning Shift

Location: Ortigas

What You’ll Do:

• Manage and maintain servers, networks, and overall IT infrastructure to ensure everything runs efficiently and securely.
• Administer and support various operating systems, including Windows, Linux, and macOS.
• Configure and monitor network performance, troubleshoot network issues, and resolve connectivity problems.
• Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures to protect systems and data from potential threats.
• Support day-to-day IT operations and respond to user-reported issues in a timely manner.
• Ensure systems are up-to-date with the latest patches and updates to maintain security and performance.
• Collaborate with other teams to optimize systems, plan for upgrades, and maintain infrastructure documentation.

What We’re Looking For:

• 3-5 years of experience in system administration, managing servers, networks, and IT infrastructure.
• Proficiency in managing and troubleshooting operating systems, including Windows, Linux, and macOS.
• Experience in network configuration, monitoring, and resolving issues related to connectivity or performance.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices and experience in implementing security measures to protect IT systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues.
• Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with other departments and IT staff.

Bonus Points For:

• Certifications like CompTIA, Microsoft, Red Hat, or other related credentials are a plus, but not required.
