Solutions Architect Cluster Lead

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solutions Architect Cluster Lead to drive the architecture and design of scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions. This role will lead a team of architects and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business and technology strategies. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in architectural patterns, cloud technologies, security principles, and team leadership.

• Work set-up: On-site

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of solutions architects, ensuring high-quality solution design and implementation.
• Define and oversee architectural strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technology roadmaps.
• Design and implement scalable, secure, and resilient architectures using industry best practices, including microservices, event-driven architecture, and cloud-native solutions.
• Provide guidance on cloud technologies, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, and other relevant platforms.
• Ensure adherence to security principles, risk management practices, and compliance requirements in all solution designs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including business leaders, developers, and IT teams, to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement by evaluating emerging technologies and architectural trends.
• Serve as a technical advisor and mentor to team members, fostering knowledge sharing and professional growth.
• Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and effective manner.
• Oversee and contribute to the creation of architectural documentation, design standards, and best practices.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in IT with at least 3 years in solution architecture and design.
• Strong understanding of architectural patterns (e.g. microservices, event driven etc.)
• Strong understanding in cloud technologies (AWS, Microsoft Azure, etc.)
• Knowledge of security principles, risk management, and compliance.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, good team player and communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Management experience leading a cluster/team
