Salesforce Developer

About the Role

As a Salesforce Developer at Eastvantage, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining applications on the Salesforce platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features, integrate third-party applications, and improve user experiences. This role requires a strong understanding of Salesforce development tools and technologies, as well as a passion for delivering high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and customize Salesforce applications using Apex and Visualforce.
• Build modern, dynamic user interfaces using the Lightning Component Framework.
• Integrate Salesforce with external systems using Salesforce APIs and RESTful web services.
• Design and implement Salesforce data models, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Salesforce applications, including performance and functionality problems.
• Collaborate with business analysts, administrators, and other developers to gather requirements and provide technical solutions.
• Follow best practices for code development and deployment on the Salesforce platform.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards.
• Continuously learn and stay updated on new Salesforce features and best practices.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience developing applications on the Salesforce platform.
• Proficiency in Apex, Salesforce’s proprietary programming language.
• Strong experience with Visualforce and Lightning Component Framework.
• Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems using Salesforce APIs and RESTful web services.
• Solid understanding of Salesforce data modeling and management techniques.
• Ability to troubleshoot, optimize, and scale Salesforce applications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Salesforce Certification (e.g., Salesforce Platform Developer I) is a plus, but not required.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of Agile or Scrum development processes.
• Familiarity with Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS).
• Experience with Salesforce Communities and Salesforce Mobile.
• Exposure to Salesforce DX and modern development methodologies.
