Sales Manager

About the Role          

We are looking for a motivated and results-oriented Sales Professional to join our team in Belgium. In this role, you will be at the forefront of driving business growth by selling our finance and accounting solutions to key decision-makers, including accountants, auditors, CFOs, and heads of finance departments. Your efforts will directly contribute to expanding our market footprint and increasing revenue. You will report to the Global Sales Director, ensuring alignment with our broader strategic goals.

After an initial phase where you will fast-track growth in our finance and accounting service lines with Belgian accounts, you will take on the responsibility of managing a sales team, with a focus on expanding our presence across the BeneluFra region.

Location: Brussels region, Belgium (Remote/Hybrid)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Sales Planning: Develop and implement a robust sales strategy to target and engage key clients, including accountants, auditors, CFOs, and finance department heads. Manage sales forecasts, monitor performance against targets, and adjust plans to optimize results. Create action plans and sales tactics to drive improvement. Collaborate with the digital marketing agency to coordinate follow-ups across various sales channels and ensure alignment with marketing activities.
  • Lead Generation and Qualification: Identify, qualify, and nurture potential leads, transforming them into lasting business relationships through strategic engagement and tailored solution presentations.
  • Client Needs Assessment: Build strong relationships with key decision-makers, gaining a deep understanding of their needs. Analyze their financial and administrative challenges to present tailored, value-driven solutions. Focus on solution selling, not just offering standard services.
  • Sales Process Management: Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to deal closure and ongoing customer development, ensuring exceptional client satisfaction and relationship management. Oversee the development of your sales team, guiding them through the sales process to ensure consistent performance and success.
  • Collaboration: Partner with senior financial consultants in Belgium and Subject Matter Experts in outsourcing solutions. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery and maintain high levels of client satisfaction throughout the engagement.
  • Target Achievement: Meet or exceed established sales targets and contribute significantly to the overall growth and success of the company.
  • Market Representation: Act as a brand ambassador for Eastvantage, building a strong and professional reputation in the market. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, expand your professional network, and identify new opportunities and service offerings. Attend seminars, trade events, and actively promote the Eastvantage image, engaging fluently with finance professionals.
  • Administration and Reporting: Efficiently manage and document all sales-related activities using our CRM system. This includes tracking lead progress, updating client interactions, and recording sales outcomes. Regularly generate and analyze reports to monitor performance metrics, identify trends, and assess progress against targets. Ensure data accuracy and timeliness in reporting to provide actionable insights and support strategic decision-making. Additionally, maintain detailed records of client communications and follow-ups to enhance relationship management and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Demonstrated success in selling services, with a strong preference for experience in outsourcing and staff leasing solutions for financial and administrative roles, or in selling accounting software and other financial services to companies or accountants in Belgium. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience required.
  • Required Qualification: Extensive knowledge of the finance and accounting industry, including current trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices. Ability to communicate effectively with finance professionals, offering relevant insights and solutions. Demonstrated fluency in industry-specific language and an understanding of client needs and challenges.
  • Language Skills: Perfectly bilingual in Dutch and French, with exceptional communication and negotiation abilities in both languages. Fluent in English.
  • Reputation: Established and well-regarded network within the finance and accounting community, including connections with CFOs, finance department heads, accountants, and auditors.
  • Motivation: Self-motivated with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Independence and Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Location: Preferably based in or around Brussels
