Why is this role important to us?

As the Product Owner for our Cloud-Native Platform & Enablement team, you hold a significant role in shaping the strategic direction and vision of our cloud-native services. The team is a multinational team spread across Europe and Asia.

Within Client Services, we are committed to designing and constructing our cloud platform, enabling automated deployments, and ensuring accessibility for both internal and external clients. You will collaborate closely with a team of Product Owners within the unit, collectively driving various aspects of our strategy while maintaining seamless coordination to deliver end-to-end value.

In SaaS Innovation, our mandate is to spearhead automation initiatives for platform deliveries. This involves constructing secure and reliable user access and infrastructure components, a critical aspect of our mission. Our primary focus revolves around providing robust platform engineering and cloud enablement services to the wider organization, leveraging Microsoft Azure’s public cloud infrastructure.

In this role, you will have an integral part in driving innovation, facilitating seamless platform delivery, and ensuring our organization remains at the forefront of cloud technology. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to deliver cutting-edge solutions efficiently and securely, ultimately driving our business forward.

Essential Responsibilities as a Product Owner:

  • Product Ownership Expertise: Lead product development efforts by defining and prioritizing features, creating user stories, and maintaining a well-defined product backlog. Bring a deep understanding of agile methodologies to ensure efficient development processes.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Act as a bridge between stakeholders, engineering teams, and other departments to ensure alignment on expectations and delivery dates. Ensure seamless integration of features into Operations teams’ workflows to enhance their ability to generate business value.
  • Strategic Vision and Roadmapping: Develop and articulate a clear product roadmap aligned with the business goals of our organization. Continuously evaluate market trends and user feedback to make informed decisions that promote product evolution and innovation.
  • Data-Driven Administrating: Utilize data analytics, user research, and feedback mechanisms to inform product decisions and prioritize development efforts. Model a culture of experimentation and iteration to optimize product performance and user satisfaction.
  • Quality Assurance and Delivery Excellence: Ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products by defining acceptance criteria, conducting regular reviews, and collaborating with our engineering teams. Strive for continuous improvement in product delivery processes to enhance efficiency and reliability.
  • Domain Expertise: Demonstrate expertise in platform engineering and cloud enablement, staying current with industry best practices, “as a Service” models, and emerging trends via continuous learning in courses, conferences, and community engagement.

Proficiency in scripting languages and CI/CD solutions ensures efficient deployment and management of cloud-based services.
