Network Infrastructure Architect

About the Role

We are seeking a Network Architect with 3-5 years of experience in designing and implementing network architectures. This role will require deep expertise in LAN/WAN, SDN, and cloud networking, along with a strong understanding of network security measures and performance optimization. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing scalable, high-performance networks that meet the needs of our dynamic business environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain network architectures that support the organization’s infrastructure and business goals.
• Work with LAN/WAN, SDN, and cloud networking technologies to create efficient and scalable network solutions.
• Ensure network security by implementing appropriate protocols, firewalls, and other security measures.
• Optimize network performance by tuning systems and addressing bottlenecks or connectivity issues.
• Collaborate with other teams (such as systems, security, and operations) to ensure seamless integration and performance of network solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging networking technologies and trends to continually improve network designs.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues and provide solutions in a timely manner.
• Document network designs, configurations, and operational procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructures.
• Proficiency in networking technologies such as LAN/WAN, SDN, and cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Strong understanding of network security protocols and measures (e.g., VPNs, firewalls, IDS/IPS).
• Experience with network performance tuning and optimization.
• Hands-on experience with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting network issues.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Related certifications such as CCNP, AWS, or CISSP are a plus, but not required.
• Familiarity with automation tools for network management (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).
• Experience with network design for hybrid cloud environments.
