About the Role
• Defines the security framework for existing and new systems, as well as the security management and security architecture standards.
• Ensures for the successful implementation and maintenance of the defined control standards across multiple platforms, specially regarding compliance by ITSG units with information security policies.
• Supports networking and security services in LAN, WAN and Internet network infrastructure.
• Manages security devices such as firewall, IDS, anti-virus appliance, including review of activity monitoring/audit logs and the timely application of patches and fixes.
• Conducts active penetration/vutnerability tests for preventive measures and investigates, resolves and escalates information security risks/threats and breaches noted/reported to contain damage and prevent recurrence.
• Recommends cost-effective modifications to the information systems and processes.
• Coordinates with external parties regarding systems security set-up for noninstitutional applications and servers,
• Performs other duties and functions delegated by Security Administrator Manager or ITSG Head
• Other functions that maybe assigned from time to time.
Position Requirements
• College Degree in Engineering (Computer Telecommunications), Computer Science/information Technology or equivalent
• At least 5 years experience in information and system security administration, including server installation, configuration, troubleshooting, software installation, configuration, firewall and IDS/IPS management, anti-virus management.
• Working Knowledge in systems/network security risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, and penetration tests, WAN, LAN, TCP/IP routing and switching
• Knowledge in TCP/IP networking
