Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Assistant Manager – Procure to Pay (P2P) to oversee and enhance our P2P operations. In this role, you will manage a team, ensure the accuracy and efficiency of the P2P process, drive process improvements, and maintain strong vendor relationships. Your leadership will be crucial in optimizing workflows and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and develop a team of P2P professionals, setting clear objectives and providing performance feedback.
- Process Oversight: Oversee the full Procure to Pay cycle, including invoice processing, purchase order management, and payment disbursements, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
- Process Improvement: Lead initiatives to enhance P2P processes, identify areas for efficiency gains, and implement best practices.
- Vendor Management: Establish and maintain effective relationships with vendors, addressing and resolving complex issues related to invoices, payments, and disputes.
- Compliance and Controls: Ensure adherence to internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements, conducting regular reviews and audits.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present detailed reports on P2P metrics, including performance indicators, process efficiency, and compliance status.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement and finance, to address discrepancies, improve processes, and support strategic objectives.
- Problem Resolution: Handle complex problems and escalate issues as needed, providing strategic solutions to ensure smooth operations.

- Leadership Abilities: Extensive experience in leading and managing teams, with strong skills in coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
- Analytical Expertise: Advanced analytical skills with a proven ability to identify trends, resolve issues, and implement process improvements.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of interacting effectively with vendors, internal stakeholders, and senior management.
- Technical Skills: High proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word) and experience with accounting or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Process Knowledge: Deep understanding of Procure to Pay (P2P) processes and best practices, with experience in driving process improvements and managing complex workflows.
- Project Management: Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines efficiently.
- Compliance Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of regulatory requirements and internal controls related to financial operations.
