Inventory Management Specialist

About the role:  

The perfect candidate for this job has 2+ years of experience in retail inventory management, demand planning, forecasting, supply chain, or data analysis, OR is entry level with a Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or Business Analytics. Must haves are (i) a high attention to detail; and (ii) ability to puzzle solve and see the big picture impact of the data you are working with.

We are looking for an inventory coordinator who…

  • Is exceptional at whatever they do and proactively seeks to solve puzzles and find solutions. This is the most important factor in your success. You must be a self-starter who is always seeking to improve.
  • Is intellectually curious, loves to learn and grow both personally and professionally
  • Is a finisher. You must love the details of your work, and work dutifully to ensure tasks are complete and accurate
  • Has a high level of Microsoft Excel proficiency, including Pivot Tables and VLookups, and strong aptitude to learn technical applications quickly
  • Can operate both strategically and tactically in a fast-paced environment
  • Is flexible and adaptive to changing priorities
  • Has excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Is a numbers-oriented, critical thinker, ideally with manufacturing or ecommerce experience.
  • Is extremely detail-oriented and organized.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Maintain daily and weekly reporting that details KPIs and informs business decisions
  • Place purchase orders with our manufacturers
  • Enter transfer orders between warehouses
  • Validate shipping documents and quantities against systems
  • Pull necessary data for reporting
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure inventory is accurate across channels
  • Maintain records in NetSuite as needed

Position requirements:  

  • 2+ years of experience in retail inventory management, demand planning, or supply chain, and with retail or ecommerce such as Shopify, eBay, Amazon, Walmart, etc.
  • Or entry level with a Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or Business Analytics.
  • Must have a high attention to detail; and ability to puzzle solve and see the big picture impact of the data you are working with.
