About The Role
As an InTune Engineer, you will assist the organization in defining requirements, designing and building data center technology components and testing efforts.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Microsoft Intune cloud architecture design to meet customers technical, security, and business needs
Management of MDM platform (Microsoft Intune)
Provide administration and technical support for mobile devices and troubleshoot complex technical issues
Supporting other IT professionals with expertise
Consults runs proof of concepts, and advises the best use of Intune services to solve current challenges
Develop and maintain software solutions/scripts to support automation of Intune configuration and administration
Capability in migration and implementation of Intune and defined services.
Define and implement RBAC within InTune.
Configure and deploy Auto-Pilot within InTune.
Position Requirements
Deep understanding of Intune and Azure
Working knowledge and experience in configuration of all tiers involving mobile device (iOS, Android), MDM solution InTune, Office 365, etc
Good understanding of SCCM/MECM along with Windows 10/11
Knowledgeable in managing iOS and Android device
Knowledgeable in Samsung Knox and Apple Business Manager
Application packaging and software deployment skills
Microsoft Endpoint Manager: Knowledge of Microsoft Endpoint Manager (formerly known as Intune) is essential for an Intune Modern Workplace Engineer. This includes managing devices and applications using Endpoint Manager, understanding policies, and configuring conditional access.
Azure Active Directory: Intune Modern Workplace Engineers should be familiar with Azure Active Directory (AAD) and its integration with Endpoint Manager. This includes managing users, groups, and devices in AAD, configuring single sign-on (SSO), and understanding authentication methods.
Windows 10 and macOS: Intune Modern Workplace Engineers should have a good understanding of Windows 10 and macOS operating systems, as these are the primary platforms that Endpoint Manager manages. This includes knowledge of deployment methods, updates, and troubleshooting.
Mobile Device Management: Intune Modern Workplace Engineers should have experience with mobile device management (MDM) and mobile application management (MAM) for iOS and Android devices. This includes understanding device enrollment, policies, and app management.
PowerShell: PowerShell is a powerful tool for managing Endpoint Manager and other Microsoft technologies. Intune Modern Workplace Engineers should have experience using PowerShell to automate tasks, create reports, and troubleshoot issues.
Security and Compliance: An Intune Modern Workplace Engineer should be familiar with security and compliance requirements for endpoints and applications. This includes knowledge of conditional access policies, device compliance, and application protection policies.
Communication and Collaboration: Intune Modern Workplace Engineers should have good communication and collaboration skills, as they will often work closely with other IT teams, end-users, and stakeholders. Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach are also important.
