Finance Program Manager

Job Purpose:

As a Finance Program Manager or Finance and Accounting Subject Matter Expert, you will play a pivotal role in our organization, leveraging your deep industry knowledge and experience to support both our sales and operations teams. You will be responsible for providing strategic insights, technical expertise, and guidance to ensure the success of our finance and accounting BPO services.

Accountabilities / Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Support:
    1. Collaborate with the sales team to identify potential clients and develop tailored solutions that meet their finance and accounting outsourcing needs.
    1. Provide subject matter expertise during client meetings and presentations, demonstrating a deep understanding of financial processes and industry trends.
    1. Assist in the preparation of proposals, bid responses, and pricing strategies to secure new business.
  2. Operations Support:
    1. Work closely with the operations team to maintain the highest level of service quality and efficiency for our clients.
    1. Offer guidance and support in implementing best practices, process improvements, and cost-effective solutions.
    1. Provide subject matter expertise to resolve complex financial and accounting issues and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. 
  3. Knowledge Transfer:
    1. Develop and deliver training programs for internal teams to enhance their understanding of finance and accounting processes, tools, and technologies.
    1. Act as a mentor and knowledge resource for junior team members, ensuring the continuous development of their skills.
  4. Industry Research and Analysis:
    1. Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, regulations, and best practices in finance and accounting. 
  5.  Integration of AI Technologies and process optimization:
    1. Developing and implementing strategies for the integration of AI technologies in finance and accounting processes, including AP, AR, OTC (over the counter), and P2P.
    1. Propose optimization options of financial processes through the application of technology, automation, and data-driven insights to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.
    1. Provide regular reports and insights to senior management on emerging opportunities and risks in the industry. 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). 
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting, including working in a BPO environment. 
  • Proven track record of successful involvement in sales and operations, with a strong understanding of the BPO industry. 
  • a deep understanding of financial regulations in key markets, particularly the UK and US 
  • Proficiency in interpreting and applying financial reporting standards, such as IFRS and GAAP 
  • In-depth knowledge of financial processes, accounting principles, and relevant software tools.  
  • Have an ability to develop a comprehensive strategy for integrating AI technologies into our F&A services, including areas such as Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Order to Cash (OTC), and Purchase to Pay (P2P) processes. 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills. 
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. 
  • Exceptional leadership and mentoring skills. 
  • Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or CFA are a plus.
