About the role:
The main function of this role is the creation and deployment of intelligent and impactful email marketing campaigns for specific partners. The Email Marketing Assistant will accompany the Email Marketing Specialists in ensuring that digital student communication journeys are accurately built into our email service provider and tested in Litmus to ensure that our Universities are confidently placed at the forefront of email marketing developments.
The Email Marketing Assistant ensures that the emails created are built upon the most effective templates. They work with the Email Marketing Specialist to help build and optimize effective email marketing communications for our clients. The emails should be built to ensure students will engage with the content and the successful candidate should have an eye for good email design and layout.
Position Requirements
As a member of the Email Marketing team, you will demonstrate:
Strong computer literacy
Proactivity in delivery
A good team player
Excel skills desirable Design skills desirable
Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Previous experience using Email Marketing Software is desirable
Key Responsibilities:
Set up, build, test, and deploy email communications using email marketing software under the guidance of the Senior Email Marketing Specialist
Use copy and assets provided to build email marketing campaigns using drag-and-drop software
Proofread copy for grammatical and style errors, and check links and other technical details with the help of the Litmus software.
Where appropriate, undertake A/B testing to recommend more effective subject lines and email content based on test results and marketing best practices.
Use conversion metrics with the Senior Email Marketing Specialist to drive innovation and improvement in email performance.
