Cards Acquiring IT Business Analyst

About the Role

As an IT Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating seamless transitions within the banking environment. Your responsibilities will encompass the end-to-end process of change implementation, ensuring alignment with bank requirements and providing effective solutions.

  • Work set-up: Hybrid
  • Shift: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Location: BGC, Manila

Roles and Responsibilities

  1. Change Request Understanding:
    • Comprehend change requests raised by the bank.
    • Prepare comprehensive requirement documents, meticulously documenting the specified needs from the bank.
  2. Solution Presentation and Review:
    • Present requirements to the solution team through collaborative calls with the solutioning architect team.
    • Scrutinize solution documents shared by the design team to ensure alignment with bank requirements, addressing any identified gaps.
  3. Bank Collaboration and Sign-off:
    • Conduct walkthroughs of solution documents with the bank, obtaining sign-off on the provided solutions from the design team.
    • Collaborate with the development team to obtain Functional Solution Documents (FSD) aligned with the approved solutions.
  4. Internal Review and Bank Sign-off:
    • Provide input and review comments during internal FSD walkthroughs by the development and design teams.
    • Share FSD with the bank, conducting walkthroughs and obtaining sign-off on the document.
  5. Testing Phase Oversight:
    • Attend walkthroughs of test scenarios prepared by the SIT internal testing team, offering review comments.
    • Review defects raised during internal testing, assigning them to the development team for necessary fixes.
  6. UAT Testing and Production Support:
    • Set up necessary configurations during the UAT testing phase.
    • Review defects raised during UAT, assigning them to the development team for resolution.
  7. Implementation and Production Support:
    • Configure parameters during the implementation phase.
    • Provide production support during the implementation or live date.
    • Offer workaround solutions to the bank in case of any production incidents, facilitating discussions with the development team for any necessary production fixes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Finance, Business, Information Technology).
  • Proven experience 10 years as Business Analyst within the payments industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of card acquiring processes, payment gateways, and related technologies.
  • Should have the hands-on experience with FSD creation and testing exposure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex problems.
