Business Analyst

About the role:  

We are seeking a skilled IT Business Analyst to join our dynamic IT team. The IT Business Analyst will be responsible for analyzing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing IT solutions that meet the needs of our organization. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of business operations, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Roles and Responsibilities

Design & Development:
● Propose features and innovation derived from market and customer research, competitive landscaping
and best practice adoption that will allow the app to deliver Singlife’s unique proposition to the target
market.
● Identify the detailed business requirements to support key product features, which will be the basis for
development.
● Liaise with business units in ensuring requirements to support a product design are well defined and
documented.
● Create and analyze user stories working with the business and tech teams to determine priorities and
ensure the correct requirements and detail is captured.
● Build and maintain relationships with your key stakeholders.
● Work with the Design Team in translating experience strategy into key product features, and ensuring
continuity of design and user experience across the entire app.
● Work with Platform managers in building the Service Design blueprint (frontend + backend) and to ensure feasibility of the design concept and features

Delivery & Execution:
● Be the ‘go to’ person within your squad for all queries and questions about your product during
development and testing.
● Work with the Tech team to ensure wider dependencies and implications for changes are understood,
building a clear understanding of our technical architecture.
● Help create and maintain the product backlog, ensuring there is always enough well defined and
prioritized stories for development.
● Conducts regular review of product performance and makes recommendations to improve it.
● Enable product monitoring and benefits tracking by setting up reports and dashboards as part of business

Position requirements:  

● Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
● Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
● Experience with business process modeling and documentation tools.
● Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
● Experience with BRD writing using User Stories and Process Mapping
● Willing to work on a 6 month project based and hybrid work set up in BGC Taguig
