About The Role

As a Billing Analyst, you will play a crucial role in processing billing data for our professional and managed services, ensuring the accurate and timely generation of invoices. This position involves resolving billing queries, preparing data for billing runs, analysing billing data for discrepancies, and generating quality assurance reports. Your responsibilities will extend to managing Billing Operations cases, addressing customer billing queries and complaints, and maintaining data quality for monthly invoicing.

Responsibilities:

Manage assigned Billing Operations cases for the activation, modification, or termination of customer services
Manage and respond to customer billing queries and complaints
Process and quality check data to ensure monthly invoices are generated on time
Prepare billing data and reports for quality checking
Review and check third party vendor and carrier data for correctness prior to invoice generation
Liaise with third party vendors and carriers to terminate services.
Calculate and apply service rebates, credits, or back charges.
Review and check consumption data from different systems and confirm accuracy with business and service delivery management leads
Review third party costs and reconcile to customer or internal services.

 

Position Requirements

Candidate must have a degree in accounting, finance background or equivalent experience
At least 2 years of experience in Billing operations and invoice processing, preferably with an Australian managed service or telecommunications provider background.
Proficiency in Telco billing software, systems, and tools. Knowledgeable in using the Selcomm Application and Microsoft Dynamic is ideal.
Ability to prioritize and able to meet tight deadlines
Capacity to adapt to changes and readiness to be trained.
Great problem-solving abilities and an attention to details.
