We are currently seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Traffic Planner to join our team. As a Traffic Planner, you will be responsible for preparing traffic management plans and designing plans for safe work implementation in compliance with Australian Standards and Codes of Practice. You will also liaise with road authorities for plan authorizations, conduct risk analysis of sites for plan coordination, and ensure appropriate risk management processes are being implemented and are effective.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare traffic management plans in accordance with Australian Standards and Codes of Practice
- Plan and design plans for safe work implementation with compliance to Australian
- Standards and Codes of Practice
- Liaise with road authorities for plan authorizations, ensuring all Memoranda of
- Authorizations are current and updated
- Conduct risk analysis of sites for plan coordination
- Ensure appropriate risk management processes are being implemented and are effective
Qualifications:
- Strong analytical and planning skills
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Experience in handling requests focusing on QLD or NSW
- Experience in handling major events
- Knowledge of policies and regulations in QLD or NSW
