Eastvantage gives back the blessing to Norfil Foundation for 6 years of fruitful business operations.
The program retained by the company is to help abandoned and neglected children from poorer areas in Manila and to engage with their foster parents at this back to school period. Prior to the actual event, EV associates initiated several office bake sales to generate funds and packed school supplies and toiletries to give to the foster children of Norfil Foundation.
After a warm welcome message from director Fred and Norfil directress Ma. Theresa Nuqui, the rest the day was packed with fun and TLC! Other than giving the children lunch and special gifts, Eastvantage also provided the day’s entertainment. The Eastvantage Smurf mascot also made his appearance in an intermission number with the EV Dance Crew.
Playing and engaging with the little ones during game time was the highlight of the day, and because the kids were full of laughter and smiles, it simply ignited a fire in all of those who participated in the event. Truly, this activity will mark one of the many more CSR events to come and will no doubt strengthen the company’s core values and refresh the spirit of its employees.
Norfil Foundation, Inc., is a Norwegian run organization in Quezon City and Iloilo that provides mainly 3 programs: care and adoption for abandoned and neglected children; help children with disabilities and their parents to cope in their new life; and orientate single young mothers in distress.
